Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is featured in Condé Nast Traveler Magazine.

The writer Kate Springer is impressed by the station”s atrium:

“The enormous, nearly 150-foot-high central atrium required 4,000 pieces of custom-cut glass, and the resulting facade streams natural light across the pre-boarding area. There’s also a green wall stretching across the far side of the departures hall and a green roof, while the double-glazed glass panels reduce heat transmission and minimize the need for air-conditioning in the summer.”

The online article is full of great tips. For instance, it advises readers to book tickets early as “the train is insanely popular, especially on public holidays.”  The article also provides a helpful link to all the incredible places you can go to on short day trips from Hong Kong.
